Refund & Cancellation Policy

Every organization starts on a 14-day free trial that includes 5,000 build minutes, 10 Monk CI AI credits, Monk CI Shield, and unlimited users, with no credit card required. The trial exists so you can run your real pipelines on Monk CI before any money changes hands, and it is the reason the fees described below are non-refundable once charged. If the trial does not answer your question, talk to us before you buy.

Pro and Max are billed monthly in advance. Subscription fees are non-refundable in whole or in part — including for partial months, for included build minutes or AI credits you did not use, and for periods in which you did not use the Services.

When you move to a higher plan, the new allowance is available to you straight away and the charge for that plan is taken at the same moment. Upgrade charges are non-refundable, including if you downgrade, cancel, or stop using the Services later in the same billing period. Because an upgrade takes effect immediately, please make sure the plan matches what you need before you confirm it.

You keep the allowance of the plan you have already paid for until the end of the current billing period, and the lower plan starts at the next billing date. No credit or refund is issued for the difference between the two plans for the period already paid.

You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which it does not renew and you are not charged again. No refund is issued for the unused remainder of that period. Cancelling during the free trial costs nothing, because no payment is taken during a trial.

Metered charges — build minutes beyond your plan's allowance, Docker cache storage, and AI credits — are billed in arrears for resources that have already been consumed, and are non-refundable. Included allowances reset at the start of each billing month: they do not roll over, carry no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for credit or cash.

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us at info@monkci.com within 30 days of that charge. Genuine errors — a duplicate charge, a charge taken after a valid cancellation, or a metering fault on our side — will be corrected or refunded. A charge that reflects the plan you selected and the resources you consumed is not a billing error.

If Monk CI terminates your agreement for convenience under the Terms of Service, we refund a pro-rated amount of any prepaid fees for the unused remainder of the period within 7 business days of termination. No refund is due where we suspend or terminate your access for breach of the Terms of Service.

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under mandatory consumer or commercial law in your jurisdiction that cannot be waived by agreement. Monk CI is sold to organizations rather than to individual consumers, and a GitHub Organization is required to use the Services.
